HUGE SCHOOL UPDATE!
so i was really confused and unhappy with school, but now it is all figured out, under control, and i am so so happy and in love with school. i dropped my exercise science major (which was the main cause of my suffering) and changed to a history major (my true passion). now everything seems and feels like the way it is suppossed to be. i am still taking the pre-req classes towards chiropractor school so i leave that option open. i realized exercise science was a useless degree for me (since i can become a personal trainer with nothing more than a certification class and test). i am going to finish my advertising major since i am almost done. i am keeping my minor in spanish (both because i am almost done and because i love it and think its useful). and depending on what happens in sweden i might talk my way into a swedish minor (i already credit by examed some swedish credits).
i figured out all the classes i need to take and they all look amazing and im so so excited. i am going abroad next year (sweden first semester and scotland second) with my friend ali, and now i will actually be able to take some classes towards my major abroad instead of just putzing around. then it will take me five semesters to finish (unless i do a ton of summer and winter school). so i will have been in school five and half years (including my one full year abroad) with WAY too many credits. However, i will have:
a history major
an advertising major
all the pre-Rrequisites for chiropractor school
a spanish minor
and maaaaybe a swedish minor.
what to i want to do with my life? well, one of five things:
(in order of desire)
1. use my history major and join the foreign service. (i know its a competative field, but i will "officially" speak three fluent languages and my dad was the swedish ambassador to the us, so i have an in)
2. go to chiropractic graduate school and become a chiropractor
3. go to graduate school and get a masters teaching degree and become a history teacher
4. use my advertising major and join an ad agencys creative team and one day become an ad exec
5. get certified and become a personal trainer and group excercise instructor.
(and just incase i dont do any of those i will either work on a horse ranch as a wrangler, become a summer camp director, or open my own diner in a small town :D)
and just in case you were wondering... here are all the classes i need to take before i graduate:
